attorneys from the Utah Attorney General's Office.
Notice of Claim Information
- Utah law requires any person who has a claim against the University or against its employee for an act or omission occurring during the performance of the employee's duties, with the scope of employment, or under color of authority, to file a written notice of claim before commencing action. Because the University is a state entity, all notices of claim must be delivered to the Utah Attorney General's Office, not the Office of General Counsel or the University.
